Signs of Spring

Some years ago, my husband and I were hiking in Yosemite and we came across a gorgeous tree with reddish magenta colored tiny flowers called Redbud. Later, we found one at a nursery to plant in our yard, since we liked it so much.

Now it is quite large,  after half a dozen or so years have gone by. It sits unobserved in the corner of the yard, until the bright magenta flowers bloom in spring, then it becomes quite attractive. The flowers don’t last that long. But it sure brightens up things while they last!  I’ve made a photographic print of it. Hope you like it.
